I guess if you know anything at all about me, it’s that one of the things I really like is Final Fantasy. I grew up in a really strict religion (and look at me now! 😂) so I wasn’t allowed to play a lot of video games, so whenever I was with my cousins, who’s parents weren’t nearly as strict, I would binge JRPGs.
Final Fantasy XV was actually the reason I finally sucked it up and bought a Playstation 4, as well! I hadn’t owned a gaming system since the PS2 era before then, I completely missed a generation. I think I bought my PS2 almost around when the PS3 actually came out!
It has a lot of faults, but I think the one thing that XV gets right better than just about any other game I’ve ever seen is the chemistry between the Boys. They love each other, and it’s a fucking joy to play.
It was also a real joy to do these photos, a couple of years ago, when the group of us were all in California together. We actually got into cosplay and did a Road Trip to get these, ate lunch, explored the boardwalk, just generally hung out and had a nice day. I don’t know if I’ve ever actually released these, which is a real shame — these are some really fun memories for me!
